Delta 7 WP 35g

Delta 7 WP is a professional-grade, high-potency insecticide engineered for the South African commercial and agricultural sectors. Specifically formulated as a Wettable Powder (WP), it is the primary choice for producers in the Gauteng and Highveld regions who require a long-lasting residual barrier against a wide array of crawling and flying pests. This 35g sachet provides a concentrated dose of Deltamethrin, a powerful pyrethroid that remains active on porous surfaces like brick, concrete, and unpainted wood, making it a critical tool for maintaining biosecurity in piggeries, poultry houses, and stables.

Key Performance Features

• Extended Residual Efficacy: Specifically engineered to bond with treated surfaces, providing up to 3 to 4 months of continuous protection against re-infestation.
• Broad-Spectrum Knockdown: Formulated to rapidly eliminate ants, cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, fleas, and bedbugs upon contact or ingestion.
• Porous Surface Optimization: The "Wettable Powder" formulation is superior to liquid concentrates (EC) for use on rough surfaces, as it stays on the surface rather than soaking in.
• Odorless & Non-Staining: Once dry, the treatment is virtually invisible and does not leave an oily residue, making it ideal for use in sensitive areas like feed-storage rooms.

Ideal Applications

• Livestock Housing & Stables: The industry standard for treating the walls and ceilings of piggeries and stables to manage high fly and mosquito populations.
• Poultry House Biosecurity: Perfect for treating structural gaps and foundations to prevent the migration of beetles and ants into the bedding.
• Warehouse & Feed Storage: Ideal for creating a long-term insect barrier around the perimeter of grain storage areas and stock-feed warehouses.
• Farmstead External Barriers: A reliable primary spray for treating the exterior foundations, window sills, and doorways of homes and outbuildings.

Product Benefits

• Cost-Effective Area Coverage: One 35g sachet, when mixed with 5 to 8 liters of water, can treat up to 100 - 125 square meters, offering significant value for large-scale operations.
• Improved Animal Health: By drastically reducing the population of flies and biting insects, Delta 7 WP helps prevent the mechanical transmission of diseases like Lumpy Skin Disease and Three-Day Stiff Sickness.
• Safe for Non-Target Areas: When applied according to label instructions and allowed to dry, it provides a safe environment for livestock and staff.

Pro Tip: For the best results, use a Compression Sprayer with a "Fan" or "Flat" nozzle to ensure even coverage. Installation Note: Pre-mix the 35g sachet in a small bucket of water to create a slurry before adding it to the main spray tank; this prevents the powder from clogging the filters. Safety Note: Do not spray directly onto animals, feed, or water troughs. Ensure all animals are removed from the area during spraying and only returned once the treated surfaces are completely dry.
