The Industrial Quick Coupling series (frequently referred to as Turf or Hydro-Coupler systems) is a specialized hydraulic interface engineered for the rapid, secure access of pressurized fluid in commercial, agricultural, and municipal landscapes. These components are designed to provide a flush-mounted, “no-leak” connection point that remains sealed under high static pressure until mechanically actuated by a specific interface key.
Quick Coupling Key 20mm
The Quick Coupling Key 20mm is the precision-machined mechanical actuator required to unlock and engage the flow from a compatible turf valve. Manufactured with a 20mm (3/4-inch) nominal diameter, this key serves as the bridge between the buried mainline and the mobile irrigation equipment.
- Mechanical Profile: Features a “Bayonet” or “Single-Lug” engagement geometry. When inserted and rotated, the key simultaneously depresses the internal valve plunger and locks into the valve body to prevent accidental disconnection under hydraulic surges.
- Professional Application: Essential for groundskeeping teams to connect high-volume hoses, impact sprinklers, or wash-down equipment to a pressurized network without the need for manual gate valves.
Quick Coupling Valve (Yellow Lid)
The Quick Coupling Valve with Yellow Lid is the subterranean housing unit for the coupling mechanism. The high-visibility Yellow Lid is a standardized industrial color code, often used to signify specific water types (such as non-potable or recycled water) or to ensure rapid location within dense turf or landscaped areas.
- Mechanical Profile: Forged from heavy-duty brass or impact-resistant polymer with a spring-loaded internal seal. The lid is UV-stabilized and reinforced to withstand surface loads from commercial mowing equipment and pedestrian traffic.
- Professional Application: Ideal for strategic placement across public parks, golf courses, and median strips where a permanent, unobtrusive water access point is required for seasonal maintenance.
Quick Coupling Lipseal 20mm
The Quick Coupling Lipseal 20mm is the primary elastomeric sealing gasket located within the valve or on the key interface. This “lip-style” geometry is engineered to provide a dynamic seal that tightens as hydraulic pressure increases, ensuring zero-leak performance during the critical transition of connecting the key.
- Mechanical Profile: Fabricated from high-density NBR (Nitrile) or EPDM rubber. The specialized “lip” profile allows for low-friction insertion of the key while maintaining a 360-degree airtight and watertight barrier against the valve seat.
- Professional Application: Utilized as a high-frequency service component to restore the sealing integrity of weathered or mineral-scaled coupling valves, preventing the “weeping” that leads to soil erosion and water wastage.
