Sure Lay Phase 2 Meal
The Epol Sure Lay Phase 2 Meal is a complete, scientifically formulated laying feed specifically designed for commercial hens during the middle stages of their laying cycle, typically between 35 and 50 weeks of age. While tailored for this mid-peak period, it is versatile enough to be fed from the first egg through to depletion. The nutrient levels are balanced according to predicted intake to ensure consistent egg quality and bird health as production begins to stabilize.

Key Features
A critical aspect of the Phase 2 Meal is its precise Calcium-to-Phosphorus ratio, which is essential for maintaining strong eggshells and skeletal strength in hens as they move past their peak production. The feed contains a blend of grains, grain by-products, plant proteins, and added oils and fats. It is also fortified with essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes to improve digestibility and feed conversion. Depending on the specific batch, it may also contain registered stock remedies to support flock health.
Feeding Recommendations
Sure Lay Phase 2 Meal should be fed ad libitum (free choice) to laying hens from 35 weeks to 50 weeks of age. Because the meal is already fully fortified with the correct levels of Calcium and Phosphorus for this stage of life, no supplementary calcium (such as oyster shell or grit) is required under normal circumstances. Always ensure that clean, fresh water is available at all times to support metabolic health and egg production.
