Key Performance Features

• Flat Roofs & Gutters: Provides a reliable, low-cost waterproofing solution for concrete slabs and metal gutter systems.
• Koi Ponds & Water Features: Safe for use in water containment (when correctly overcoated or lined) to prevent leakage.

Application Highlights

• Ease of Use: Being water-based, it is non-toxic, low-odor, and tools can be cleaned with water while the product is still wet.
• Multi-Layer System: For maximum durability, apply in two or three coats. For structural joints, embed Duram Duramesh between the first and second layers.
• Surface Prep: Ensure the surface is free of loose dust, oil, and grease. On highly porous surfaces, a “slurry coat” (Durabit thinned 10% with water) can be used as a primer.

Pro Tip: While Durabit is exceptionally UV resistant for a bitumen product, for exposed roof areas, it is recommended to overcoat it with Duram Silver-Glo (Bitumen Aluminium) after 14 days to reflect heat and extend the lifespan of the membrane.
