Glue Devil Clear Adhesive is a premium-quality, solvent-based universal adhesive engineered for applications where a completely transparent bond is essential. Formulated to be "water-clear," it is the ideal choice for repairing items where a yellow or opaque glue line would ruin the aesthetic, providing a strong, flexible, and discreet finish.
Key Performance Features
- Crystal-Clear Transparency: Dries to a perfectly colorless film, making it virtually invisible on glass, clear plastics, and light-colored materials.
- Rapid Initial Tack: Features a fast-drying formula that provides a quick "grab," allowing for efficient positioning and reduced assembly time.
- Versatile Multi-Surface Adhesion: Specially balanced to bond a wide variety of materials without the aggressive "melting" effect seen in some heavy-duty industrial solvents.
- Flexible & Vibration Resistant: Once cured, the adhesive remains slightly elastic, allowing the bond to withstand thermal expansion and minor mechanical shocks.
Ideal Applications
- Glass & Crystal Repair: Perfect for re-attaching stems to wine glasses, repairing glass ornaments, and sealing small cracks in display cases.
- Jewelry & Craftwork: The go-to solution for bonding beads, sequins, and delicate metallic components where a clean finish is required.
- Model Building & Hobbies: Ideal for attaching clear "canopy" parts on scale models or bonding intricate plastic and wooden hobby kits.
- Household Fixes: Excellent for repairing ceramic figurines, leather accessories, and loose PVC trimmings.
Product Benefits
- Precision Applicator: The 50ml tube is designed for controlled dispensing, allowing for fine beads or small dots of glue on intricate parts.
- Water & Weather Resistant: Once fully cured, the bond is resistant to moisture and common household cleaning detergents.
- Non-Staining Formula: Formulated to minimize the risk of "bleed-through" or staining on porous materials like fine paper or light fabrics.
Pro Tip: For the strongest "invisible" bond on non-porous surfaces like glass or hard plastic, apply a thin layer to both surfaces. Wait about 30–60 seconds for the solvent to slightly evaporate (the glue should be tacky but not wet) before pressing the parts together firmly.
