The Orbit Mist Nozzle is a high-precision component designed for maintenance and optimization of evaporative cooling systems. These nozzles are engineered to maintain specific hydraulic flow rates, ensuring the system continues to produce a fine thermal mist rather than large water droplets.
Mechanical Specifications
- Precision Machined Orifice: Each nozzle is crafted with a micro-gauge opening that facilitates the flash-evaporation process. This engineering ensures the mist remains suspended in the air long enough to absorb ambient heat before it reaches the ground.
- Corrosion-Resistant Composition: Constructed from high-quality brass or stainless steel, these nozzles are designed to withstand constant water contact and environmental exposure without succumbing to rust or oxidation.
- Leak-Proof Sealing: Equipped with a specialized O-ring or compression seal, the nozzle ensures a vacuum-tight fit when threaded into the misting line. This prevents pressure loss and ensures all available water is utilized for cooling.
- Universal Threading: Featuring a standard 10/24 threading, these replacement heads are compatible with most high-quality misting systems used in professional and residential applications.
Operational Integrity
The replacement series is designed to handle varying water pressures while maintaining a consistent cone spray pattern. To ensure peak performance, the internal design minimizes turbulence within the nozzle chamber. These components are easily removable for periodic descaling, which is essential for preventing the mineral blockages that can occur in hard water environments. By replacing worn or clogged nozzles, the overall efficiency of the cooling system is restored, providing a reliable and uniform temperature reduction.
